A Government of India survey indicates that approx. 19.5% of land in Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand consists of terrain that is ideal for medicinal or aromatic herbs. Just the soil type that suits hemp best! Local agricultural laws have banned the usage of fertilizers and chemicals and our farms are in the process of being certified organic. Our hemp hearts are made from pure hemp seeds that are gently hulled and cleaned without using any chemicals.
THC, CBD values - Is it safe?
FSSAI and the Indian government have approved the use of hemp as food in 2021. Our farmers cultivate only the Cannabis species for hemp seeds and comply with India's NDPS Act 1985. As per the stringent FSSAI requirements, THC value in our hemp seeds is lower than 5.0 mg/kg and CBD value is lower than 75 mg/kg. Each lot is strictly tested and our hemp products absolutely have no psychoactive effect, only goodness for your body & mind.
Rare ratio of Omega 6 : Omega 3
Omega 6 (Linoleic acid) and Omega 3 (Alpha Linolenic acid) are both necessary fatty acids for our survival, as our bodies cannot produce them naturally. Most diets contain too much Omega 6 and not enough Omega 3. In India, we resort to consuming fish oil for our requirement of Omega 3. Hemp hearts are a great vegan source for these omegas and a single serving of 25g provides 227% and 60% of our daily requirements of Omega-6 and Omega-3 respectively.

Local farmers in Rudraprayag have been in possession of the traditional knowhow of growing hemp but misconceptions led them to look for other means of livelihood. As the world becomes aware of hemp's benefits, the farmers are now resettling, rebuilding and seeking for support. All our hemp seeds are procured from the local farmers directly at fair prices commanded by them.
How to use
Hemp hearts are highly versatile and easy to include in our daily diets. Eat them raw, straight out of the bag or add them to your trail mix, salads or pasta bowls. You can also blend them in your daily smoothies or make homemade protein bars or muffins.
Make hemp milk at home by mixing one cup of hemp hearts with a glass of water and blend them in a mixer!
