Organic Spanish Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (First Cold Pressed)
From Tree to You™
Sourced from Andalusia, Spain
More than 200 years ago near Ronda (Andalusia), an order of nuns began producing extra virgin olive oil from the fruit of century-old trees. These groves were eventually certified-organic in the modern world and initiated a model known as pagos asociados (cooperative system) in Andalusia, common in the world of wine but unusual in the olive-oil sector. Our organic extra-virgin olive oil is made in this unique model in Ronda, Andalusia with hand-harvested organic olives that are first cold-pressed.
First Cold-Pressed Method
First pressing means that the olive was pressed only one time, giving it the highest quality and purity. Cold pressed means that the temperature never exceeded 26 degrees C during the entire pressing process, resulting in the maximum nutrients.
Hand Harvested
Hand harvesting of olives makes it possible to pick the best quality olives that are free from imperfections. Machines are incapable of avoiding olives that might be bruised, sliced, rotten, etc. The best olives makes for the healthiest & tastiest olive oil!
Shelf Stable - Dark Glass Bottles
Storing high-quality EV olive oil in dark glass bottles is critical as it helps filter out the damaging ultraviolet rays and retain its original goodness. Good olive oil should never be stored in plastic containers as chemicals from plastics can seep into the oil.
How to use
High quality EV olive oil can be used for drizzling or dressing purposes and is equally beneficial for us when used for cooking. Don't believe us? Read this interesting blog by Dr. Joanna where she explains it in a very simple but scientific manner.

For a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle, we need to consume the right kind of fats. Each serving of 14g of our organic extra-virgin olive oil provides healthy monounsaturated fats (11g) of oleic acid, omega-3 (70mg) and omega-6 (1050mg).
* The high content of healthy monounsaturated fats (79% by weight) in organic extra-virgin olive oil promotes good cholesterol, reduces levels of inflammatory markers like CRP, helps regulate blood sugar and lowers the risk of a heart disease.
* Organic EVOO is naturally super rich in polyphenols, that can actually help ward off cancer.
* Scientists estimate that the oleocanthal in 3.4 tbsp of organic EVOO has a similar effect as 10% of adult dosage of ibuprofen.
