Organic Peruvian Raw Cacao Nibs (Unsweetened)
Our organic cacao is procured from farmers of the Yanesha Communities of Peru, found in the region of Pasco in Central Amazon. The cacao is developed under a Nature Consortium agroforestry system, preparing the fields with organic material, putting seeds of other fruits such as banana, papaya along with cacao.
These pure raw organic cacao nibs are made under low-temperature conditions and contain no husk. They are unsweetened & loaded with health benefits.
Organic Peruvian Raw Cacao Nibs (Unsweetened)
From Tree to You™
Sourced from Peru
Experts agree that cacao originated in the tropical Andes foothills in Peru and that the Aztecs made chocolates & other foods from naturally fermented cacao beans, calling it as 'Food of the Gods'. Our organic raw cacao nibs are unsweetened and made by gently chopping organic cacao beans into smaller pieces.
Raw Cacao Nibs - not Cocoa Nibs...
Naturally fermented and just chopped cacao beans (raw cacao nibs) are the least processed form of chocolate you can find - its simply edible cacao bean packed with healthy goodness. Cocoa nibs on the other hand are roasted which results in a much lower nutrient value in the nibs.
Tested for Heavy Metals
We test every lot of our cacao nibs for heavy metals such as Cadmium, Mercury, Lead and others as per the stringent requirements of FSSAI, USDA and European Commission.
Fair-trade, Sustainable
We source our raw organic cacao nibs directly from a consortium of farmers from the Yanesha community in Peru and there are no middlemen involved, giving the farmers complete value for their creation. Further, all our retail packs are absolutely plastic-free and made with paper only.
Get the Crunch
A deep dark chocolate taste with a subtle but fresh crunch, our raw cacao nibs are a perfect snack straight out of the bag as well as a super nutritious addition to trail mixes, smoothies, yogurt, energy bars and more.
Benefits of organic raw cacao nibs
Raw organic cacao nibs maintain the same integrity and quality of the cacao bean - meaning that they are the closest form of edible cacao. Apart from being a great plant-based source of manganese, copper, magnesium, fiber, they are an amazing source of healthy fats. Being exceptionally rich in antioxidants, they also help reduce oxidative stress and inflammation.
Cacao that has been processed at high-temperatures or turned into a 'cocoa' product does not contain these beneficial nutrients and lose the recognition of a superfood.
